The AIDS Awareness Scholarship money to
students committed to AIDS education and awareness.
This and other scholarships at
Golden Gate University are funded through the generosity of GGU
alumni, friends, foundations and corporations. While some
individual scholarships may have more restrictive criteria or
separate applications, generally eligible students may apply for
these awards with a consolidated application, available from the
Office of Student Financial Services in the spring. The
scholarships typically are awarded for the following fall
trimester. In order to be considered for these awards, you must be
enrolled in the preceding fall or spring trimesters in a degree
program in either the School of Business, School of Liberal
Studies and Public Affairs, School of Taxation, or School of
Technology and Industry. These scholarships typically are awarded
on the basis of academic merit in addition to other specific
criteria established by the donors of the funds. In order to
receive any funds awarded, you must be enrolled at least
half-time.
