Biography
I came out as a gay man about four years ago
(after tenure) in my personal life, but only in this last year
have I been out actively in my professional life. Now that
I'm out professionally, I'm out with a vengeance in my classes, in
e-mail discussions groups, as an advocate for LGBT issues in my
department, in a conference paper, in a journal article, and in an
LGBTA support group that I started in my department.
