EQUAL, (Empowered Queers United for Absolute Liberation)
student group at The Colorado College, is a mixed-gender social and
support group (but not a therapy group), which is involved in political
action, community service, and other fun activities, depending on the
interest of its members.
QSA (Queer/Straight Alliance) is an activist and support
group that welcomes anyone, regardless of sexual orientation. This group
allows supportive straight people to be involved with the queer community
at CC.

The Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender Engineers are
a group of like-minded individuals at the Colorado School of Mines. We
gather together as friends with similar interests and concerns. We also
serve as a safe haven for those students that feel that they need a
supportive community in a largely unsupportive environment.

The GLBTA! Is a safe place for
anyone who wants to explore issues involving
sexuality regardless of age, ethnicity, race, gender, class,
affectional orientation, religion, physical ability, or academic
background. You do not have to be gay, lesbian, transgendered, or
bisexual to be a part of the group - a large number
of our members are heterosexuals who want to
show support for the gay community.

Naropa University is a welcoming place for GLBTQ
students, faculty and staff. Modeled on Nalanda University of ancient
India, where students and teachers from diverse spiritual and intellectual
traditions came together, Naropa recognizes the special contributions and
distinctive voices of GLBTQ people.

Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender (LGBT) Studies at the
University of Colorado at Boulder is an interdisciplinary program
encompassing more than 20 courses in a dozen departments. LGBT Studies
involves the academic investigation of sexuality in established fields
such as literature, history, theatre, law, medicine, economics, sociology,
anthropology and political science.
