The Stonewall Resource Center (SRC), established at
Grinnell College in 1986, provides a comfortable environment for study,
relaxation, or recreation. Its primary function is to serve as a resource
and safe space for GLB students, faculty, staff, and their allies. A 1,000
volume library, 50 title video library and meeting area are available. The
group is strictly confidential.

LGBTSS, a unit of the Dean of
Students Office at Iowa State University, is a safe space for all members
of the university community to explore aspects of sexual orientation and
gender issues in an open and non-judgmental atmosphere. LGBTSS is
committed to providing information and education that enhances the
educational experience and overall quality of student life on the Iowa

The Alliance's mission is to educate the community on
lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender issues; to support members of the
community who are coming to accept their sexual orientation and/or
sexuality; to provide a source of safe and responsible social interaction
with the LGBTA community; to provide resources for health-related issues;
to strive to eliminate heterosexism and homophobia; and to provide
information and moral support to persons wishing to become involved in
political advocacy.
