The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual Center has five main
purposes:
 | Advocacy: Whereas we try not to "speak for"
people, our office does serve as a voice for the lesbigay community.
 | Education: We do classroom panels in which we are
invited into a classroom and educate students on what the purpose of
the office is and what it is like to be a lesbigay student at
Minnesota State University, Mankato.
 | Programming: We sponsor events and programs
throughout the year
 | Support: for those struggling with lesbian, gay,
bisexual issues |
 | Resources: The Jim Chalgrin Resource Library
which includes books, films, and magazines, Internet access, listserve |
