LGBF is an NMSU student organization that provides a
forum for lesbians, gays, bisexuals, the transgender (lgbt) and friends to
discuss issues of mutual concern and interest. LGBF organizes and promotes
educational, cultural and social events to heighten awareness of lgbt
issues in the NMSU and Southern New Mexico communities.LGBF also provides
advocacy and referrals to other resources for the lgbt community.

GAF is a club for gay, lesbian, and bisexual students at
New Mexico Tech, as well as their friends, and anyone else in the Socorro
area who is interested. You do not have to be gay to join GAF. GAF
meets bi-weekly and exists primarily as a "social" group, to
provide a safe and friendly environment where people can interact.
