The
Whole Lesbian Sex Book : A Passionate Guide for All of Us by
Felice Newman
Cure for cancer? End to world hunger? What's
left to do after the publication of Felice Newman's definitive
guide to lesbian sex? Drawing on a wide range of published sources
as well as her own notoriously graphic questionnaire circulated by
e-mail--stunning mild-mannered office workers as it reeled across
their computer screens--Newman has compiled an exhaustively
thorough how-to guide for practices as exotic as play piercings
and as pedestrian as oral sex. Along the way, she offers a primer
in sexual politics and lesbian manners at the turn of the century.
The S/M hanky code is laid out once and for all. There is even a
(brief, happily brief) section on celibacy.

A
Season in Granada : Uncollected Poems & Prose by
Federico Garcia Lorca, Christopher Maurer (Editor)
Few poets have such highly-developed senses as
Lorca (who was also a musician and an artist); few trust so deeply
in the senses of the reader. This, indeed, is one of the great
pleasures of reading Lorca's poetry: this sense of privilege, of
being included in a rich, subtle and slightly dangerous sensual
world. Again, Maurer succeeds admirably, in the selections made
here, in conveying Lorca's world view.... I can think of no better
celebration of the centenary of this great poet's birth than A
Season in Granada; buy it, read it, and encounter, not only a
great poet, but the mysterious beauty of a great city. -- John
Burnside in Poetry Review

Angel
Lust : An Erotic Novel of Time Travel by Perry Brass,
Tom Laine (Editor)
Angel Lust combines the mystical atmosphere we
see in Ann Rice's classics of dark eroticism with Brass's more
open, full-throttle gay sexuality. What makes this book different
from other gay "erotic" novels of fantasy is that the
characters are totally real. Despite being angels, despite the
element of Time travel, Bert and Tommy, the two angels who have
been together since eternity, could be your neighbors. They worry
about making a living, about their landlord throwing them out, and
about the day-to-day struggles that all humans have. Although they
have powers far beyond most of us (for instance, they can revive
the dead), they understand that their human side can get them into
trouble, both with the law and their own deeper feelings, just
like anyone else.

Herotica
6 : A New Collection of Women's Erotica by Marcy
Sheiner (Editor)
It's been several months since "Herotica
6" came out in bookstores. It's been almost three years since
I wrote the story back in college. It was a pleasure to be a part
of the Herotica anthologies because I was captured among the
amazing voices of other women - other women who were also brave
enough to paint their own desires on paper. Specifically, I was
left speechless after reading exemplars by Tan and Moharanj. -- Maria

Unforgettable
by Karin Kallmaker
Classic Kallmaker, only better! I loved this
book. Fabulous characters and good story forced me to read this
book in one sitting. I was home for the afternoon, not feeling
well, and Rett and Angelica helped me get well. I can't wait for
the next one! More please, Karin! -- Anonymous Review
If this is anything to go by for miss
Kallmaker's work, then damn! A wonderfully scripted novel which
just left me wishing it had lasted longer. Rett and Angel are two
main characters who you just become involved with, in a wonderful
tale of true love, and spine tingling sex scenes, you'll find
yourself grinning hopelessly at the end! Well worth reading on
that lonely night, or any night, just! A MUST read. -- Anonymous
