Erratic Impact's Philosophy Research Base has
three awards for excellence in Philosophy, including Queer Theory,
LGBT Studies, etc.

plus ultra Award gives recognition to superlative
gateway sites that focus upon a particular subject or figure. |
 | The Original
Contribution Award gives recognition to interesting and
innovative contributions to the Philosophy Research Base. |
 | The Virtual
Classroom Award gives recognition to websites specifically
designed for interactive classroom education. |

This award is designed as a way to reward those
sites which promote equality, peace, and human decency for their
contributions. As such, this is NOT a link exchange type of award.
We take this award very seriously and intend for it to really mean
something when a site is awarded The Equality Project's Members'
Choice Award!

Requirements for an award: Your site must be
openly gay or gay friendly, easy to navigate, and informative.
We do not allow porn sites or sites with offensive nudity.
Artistic and romantic pictures are allowed. This can be an
area of debate which is why we have a board of reviewers to
determine the appropriateness of the sites.

This award is meant to emphasize the presence in
the Net of the best GLTB (Gay - Lesbian - Transgender - Bisexual)
Sites, presenting to the surfer the healthy and positive aspect of
the GLTB world.

Black Claw Awards: The IGGW Black Claw
Award is conferred upon those individuals, organizations, or web
pages which have made significant contributions to web page design
and/or to the community at large. Only those sites whose name(s)
appear on this page may display the award. Nominees for a Black
Claw Award need not be members of the International Guild of Gay
Webmasters. Recipients need not be members of IGGW.
Teen Safety & Service Award
is awarded to Teen and Teen Oriented Sites which offer services
and a safe place for GLBT and questioning teens.
Featured Site Award is given
to those sites which have been featured in GUILDLines.

The Rainbow Award is exclusively bestowed upon
those Gays, Lesbians, Bisexuals, and Transgenders who have made a
contribution to the GLBT Web community through excellence in
content, design, creativity, presentation or overall concept of
their Web page. All website submissions must either be in English
or have an English version.

This Award was conceived in order to recognize
and promote web sites which proffer high quality content of
educational, artistic, literary and/or social benefit to the
online gay and lesbian community. The aim of the Award program is
to foster the development and publication of insightful,
thoughtful, and thought-provoking material which enriches the gay
and lesbian community and gives form and presence to the online
representation of our diverse sensibilities, experiences and
imaginations.
