East Coast Bears is a social group for gay and
bisexual men on the East Coast of Canada. The group is based in
Fredericton, New Brunswick, and welcomes members from all
localities.
Our goal is to recognize and socialize with like
minded men, both at home and when we travel. Our web site is
intended as a promotional tool and as an information center. We
welcome you to join us. Membership is free! You can now join
online. East Coast Bears is an organization whose members' varied
backgrounds, interests, and occupations afford the opportunity for
anyone to expand his social circle.

Gais.es Nor Gays Inc. is an association of gay,
lesbian, and bisexual men and women in the Bay of Chaleur region
and North-Eastern part of the Province of New Brunswick, Canada.
The goal of the association is to create a bond among the gay,
lesbian and bisexual community and in doing so alleviate the
loneliness and solitude with which people are confronted.
Knowing friends and colleagues exist mitigates the isolation
resulting from the lack of services available to them in this
area.

A service of Fredericton Lesbians and Gays (see
separate listing in CGLBRD), the FLAG Phone Line provides
information about local and provincial activities, groups and
clubs; names of gay-positive professionals, businesses and clergy;
coming out advice and crisis counselling. It is staffed by trained
volunteers on Mondays and Thursdays from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm. A
recording of upcoming events is provided at other times. All calls
are completely confidential.
