From
ground breaking research on giving and volunteering to
myth-busting analysis of the economic status of lesbians and gay
men, IGLSS leads the way in research and analysis on questions
important to lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgendered Americans.
IGLSS is a
national independent public policy think tank. In its policy
journal, Angles,
the Institute reports the latest findings on such critical issues
as evidence
of employment discrimination and benefits of allowing same-sex
couples to marry. IGLSS
Abstracts offers scholars a preview of ongoing or recently
concluded studies, and GayDAR
provides a comprehensive directory of experts useful to
journalists, policymakers, activists, and researchers
Here on the
IGLSS web site, you'll find the Institute's most current
publications as well as opportunities to participate
in its work.

The International Association of Lesbian, Gay,
Bisexual, Transgendered Pride Coordinators, Inc. (INTERPRIDE),
exists to promote lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender pride on
an international level, to increase networking and communication
among Pride groups, to encourage diverse communities to hold Pride
Events, and to act as a source of education.
INTERPRIDE is a non-profit corporation (USA)
made up of member organizations producing G/L/B/T Pride events
worldwide. We hold an annual international conference in October
to conduct corporate business, address political concerns, and to
increase education on operations and logistics for the planning
and production of a variety of Gay Pride events that are held
around the globe. There are five yearly regional conferences held,
four in North America and one in Europe (European Pride Organizers
Association). The International Gay Pride Theme is chosen by the
general membership in the plenary session.
The European Pride Organizers Association (EPOA)
is a voluntary working European network of Lesbian & Gay Pride
Organizations and Committees and licenser of the Europride title.
Europride events have been held in London (1992), Berlin (1993),
Amsterdam (1994), Copenhagen (1996), Paris (1997) and Stockholm
(1998) and WorldPride 2000 in Rome.
The Global Pride Calendar is produced by
InterPride & EPOA from submitted information from local pride
organizers. It is posted on the WWW at : www.interpride.org
& www.interpride.net.
Information may be submitted on our website via HTML forms. Local
events information may be obtained from the hyperlinks to pride
