MCC, also referred to as UFMCC,
or the Universal Fellowship of Metropolitan Community Churches is a
Christian denomination with a primary, affirming ministry to gays,
lesbians, bisexuals and transgendered persons and their friends and
families. Founded in 1968, UFMCC today is composed of more than 42,000
members in 300 congregations in 16 countries around the world.
