GLADD was set-up in 1995 and is an organisation
for gay, lesbian and bisexual doctors, dentists, medical and
dental students.
Our main aims are to:
 | Provide professional and social support for
gay, lesbian and bisexual doctors, dentists and medical and
dental students
| Combat discrimination against gays, lesbians
and bisexuals particularly if expressed by or towards doctors
and dentists
| Collect and disseminate information on gay,
lesbian and bisexual issues relevant to the practice of
medicine and dentistry |

Stonewall is the national civil rights group
working for legal equality and social justice for lesbians, gay
men and bisexuals. It is a respected and effective campaigning
organisation working with a growing network of sympathetic
politicians and alongside many grass roots groups.
